Document a robotics project on GitHub

Keep code, setup notes and test observations together in a reproducible portfolio.

Before you start

A project you can explain and permission to publish its files and images.

Create a repository for code you own or are licensed to share. State the model, firmware version, dependencies and setup procedure. A photograph or demo helps explain the result, but the test notes are what distinguish a working experiment from an idea.

Include known limitations and credit upstream resources. Exclude passwords, WiFi credentials and private student records. This is a manual documentation workflow; it does not claim automatic GitHub synchronization with the Dashboard.

Try a small experiment

  1. Confirm your model, tool and intended task.
  2. Use the official model instructions to establish a working example.
  3. Change one part and record the observed outcome.
  4. Save the working version and list the next question to investigate.

What to record

Write a project README another learner can use to understand and reproduce your experiment.
