Adventurer: combine inputs and outputs

Explore games, distance measurements and balancing concepts by testing one requirement at a time.

Before you start

Be comfortable running a basic example and restoring its working version. Check the project's hardware requirements first.

An interactive game adds rules to a display. A sensor project adds measurements that can be noisy or unavailable. Both make useful practice in separating program logic from hardware behaviour.

Choose a small requirement, such as changing a display when a sample distance crosses a threshold. Test the decision with sample values before connecting an actuator. Project demonstrations show possible experiments; complete lessons and compatible parts vary by model and workspace.

Try a small experiment

  1. Write a measurable requirement and a safe test boundary.
  2. Check the relevant model guide and establish a working baseline.
  3. Test decisions with sample inputs, including boundary and missing values.
  4. Connect one input or output and document differences from the simulated result.

What to record

Describe an input, decision and output; reproduce a test; explain a failure with evidence.
